hello, we're not perfect, we're artsgroup!

The most imperfect company you'll ever meet.

Closing doors?

Nah. Just for a few weeks!

We've gotten extremely busy this year working with more people, providing new opportunities and continuous expansions to the StudioPlace project at Stamp Rd.  We "gots work to do" and we just needed your attention for a few minutes for these awesome updates!  We have a busy summer ahead so it's focus time.

When we will close our doors to the public?

Young Moguls Artist Development Program

This is our summer event where we train creatives for the arts and entertainment industry.  We are working with 150 youth this summer at StudioPlace.  This program allows nonprofits to work with creatives and teach them the basics of arts and entertainment and focuses on #artjobs.  Part of our purpose at ArtsGroup is to provide ART JOBS for artists that are interested in an art career.  This program provides the soft skills, and plenty of cool-relevant artist development practices in the pro studio environments where today's youth are attracted to coming instead of government sponsored facilities.  We take the kids with baggy pants and provide jobs for them.  This program is a cool workplace opportunity.  Unfortunately, we do not have room for additional youth at this time, but will have a workshop version available for the public at the start of the program.  Workshops for serious artists ages 18 - 24 that are not already registered will range from $15 per workshop and studio time will be reduced to $25/hr to make it affordable for those that are interested but can't get in.

Date:  June 25th - August 3rd.

Time:  24/7, appointment and workshop based.

Location:  StudioPlace Artist & Repertoire Complex and Johnny Lab @ The Commons at Stanton Square.

Studio(s):  ALL @ StudioPlace / Johnny Lab RM 220

Young Moguls Block Party - August 3rd

This is a block party that is currently under development by ArtsGroup.  This is the summer culmination event for the Young Moguls Artist Development program.  We have reserved the entire parking lot for the event and will have games, activities, vendors and sponsors.  We also have reserved the Prince George's County stage truck.  Please mark your calendars for that Friday.  We will begin promoting this through some very strong promotional partners very soon, as well as marketing by the program youth attending the property this summer.

Time:  24/7, appointment and workshop based.

Location:  StudioPlace Artist & Repertoire Complex Grounds
